Top3Eats officially launched in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2018. The idea started simple and is attempting to change the dining experience on the island. Top3Eats is an easy to navigate food review web-based and mobile application that helps the consumer decide on the right choice of the dish either for a dine-in, take-out, or delivery experience. Typical restaurant reviews lead you to good restaurants, but this application has a way of getting to know you and leads you to the right restaurant based on the dish that best suits you. Over time, the Top3Eats algorithm will use your preferences and tendencies to suggest dishes at restaurants that best fit your taste buds.
How many times have you gotten to a restaurant and been given a menu that is way too long? Can you remember asking a waiter or waitress what to order? More often than not, there seem to be two responses: either everything on the menu is “good” or our personal favorite that the most expensive item on the menu is also coincidentally the best. As we reviewed the restaurant scene, we found the problem and our goal was to create the solution. Top3Eats is the solution and works with the restaurants in Puerto Rico to promote their most popular dishes.
